On Saturday we met our friend and her
little dog for a picnic along the Ottawa River. It was a beautiful day – not too
hot or too cold, for a change! Armed with fresh fruit and drinks we found a
spot near a huge herd of Canada geese that were harassing various people trying
to read/sleep. After our picnic we wandered back up the river to check out some
rock sculptures. These were incredible – and the rocks were just balanced on
each other without mortar!

Yesterday was Canada Day, so there I’ll put
