Happy Independence Day USA! Brings back
some fond memories of our days in Deadwood last year... check out the blog posts for last July 4th for details on our shenanigans.
On Sunday the fireworks were spectacular.
It’s hard to get a good spot as people start waiting for them hours in advance.
As it was, we had a quick drink at a local pub, then headed over to National
Art Gallery to try and get a good spot. Half an hour and several shuffles out
of the way for stupid security cars to drive through, go 100 metres then come
back, and it was on!
They were stunning! And the huge ones were pretty
loud. I oohed and aahed with the best of them and loved every second of that
fifteen minutes. Hope you like the pics!
