Quebec City I

Le Chateau Frontenac.
Like Montreal, Quebec City is like a little French town smack in the middle of Canada. Which I guess it is. However, Quebec province does want people to vote for it to be its own country again, but that’s another story.

The buildings are very cute, done in the traditional French style that Samuel du Champlain and his mates brought over from the motherland. The view from the boardwalk was magnificent and we enjoyed walking the streets and seeing all the tourists crowding around street performers and restaurants. It’s a very picturesque city.

The Fairmont Le Frontenac is a stunning hotel so I can see why so many people take pictures of it. I certainly took a LOT.

A storm on the way to Quebec.

Huge McDonalds sign. From ages away!

Crazy traffic lights and cool building in the distance. Never did find out what it was though.

Random huge group of motorbikes went past.

Champlain - Quebec hero! (explorer guy from France)

Random garage decoration!

Cool train station!!
